Painting the Strings
Watch this video of Lisa and conductor Emil de Cou, along with pianist Eric Schnobrick at the Concert Hall of the Kennedy Center. They are rehearsing for a Wolf Trap performance of "2001 Space Odyssey". The music calls for special effects to be performed on the inside of the piano, requiring the use of paintbrushes and rags.
